Swing
Dancers Crash Course: Our most BASIC Swing class.
Covers single time swing (Jitterbug), and triple time swing
(East Coast). Danced to Big Band and Rock and Roll Music.
Swingin'
to Jazz & Blues (AKA Beginner West Coast):
This class is best when taken after the Swing Dancer's Crash
Course, but can be taken as a Basic Swing class. Covers
basic East and West Coast Swing. Slower swing music...like
Jazz, Blues, and Country.
Intermediate
West Coast Swing: Often called the "Dancer's
dance" the West Coast swing is a great second level
Swing class. Make sure you've either graduated from our
Swingin to jazz and blues class or have the following moves
under your belt.....Basic passes and pushes, basic rhythm,
basic 8 count whip and ability to change between 6 and 8
count moves. This class will satisfy anyone beyond the basics
Intermediate
Swing Crash Course: Must have basic Jitterbug (single
time swing) knowledge. This class covers rhythm changes
and Charleston kick variations. Really fun and packed with
new moves...if you like the faster swing music, you'll love
this class. Makes sure you have your basics down though,
as this class is fast paced!!
Lindy-Hop:
Once you've mastered basic East and West coast swing, you're
ready for this class as it's a 2nd level Swing Class. Lindy
Hop is what's danced in most "Swing Clubs" today.
Great FUN, but challenging for the beginner...we recommend
our Basic Swing Crash Course and Swingin to Jazz and Blues
before you take this class.
